One of my favorite handle materials is Desert Ironwood – it’s super dense and has the property of chatoyance. I have a nice piece tucked away – time to use it! My newest knife W22 is a clip point hunter and the Ironwood is going to look fantastic on it. I’ve cut out the handle slabs, glued on the black tang liners and drilled all the pin holes. The blade bevels were ground out this morning – now to decide and design filework for the knife.
