Got a couple of palm skinning knives on the bench – almost finished. Great versitile, compact hunting knives – field tested with great reviews from customers on past models.
Trying some Australian lacewood and figured maple on these skinners. Heat treating went well – tested out at RC 60-61 which means it’ll be strong and will hold a edge.
Can hardly wait to polish them up – the potential of depth and color in both of these woods is incredible!
