I finally decided on the handles for my new knives W18, W19 and W20 – burled maple for the backpack skinner and flame maple and burled elm for the hunters. The blanks are cut out, holes are drilled and the handles shaped – tomorrow I’ll head out to the shop to grind the blade bevels and then glue up the handles.
